It's a rare band that understands how to rock hard and then suddenly turn the volume down, all within the same song. "Virtual" begins with a chunka-chunka blast of electric guitar reminiscent of Urge Overkill's finest moments. The vocals are sung in one of the more original styles you are likely to hear, they are definitely lower range, but are sung with a wry melancholy. The lyrics are very clever too: "Close the windows, go to bed/ Had a beautiful woman, she was not to human, like the last real girl I had". Since the song rocks along so well, a sudden lowering of the volume as the vocalist shares the chorus with a female backing singer practically jars you out of your chair with its subtle beauty. The first time you hear the chorus, you wonder, "Wow- I've never heard anything like that before". The songs intensity is increased as you are treated to a brief slide guitar solo before the final chorus. The song ends with a quiet downward spiral, leaving the listener grasping for more.
